Wine and Cheese Tasting Toolkit

Around here, our happy hours are legendary, and the heart of it all? A 12.5′ kitchen island where friends huddle, swapping stories and laughs, the air buzzing with good vibes. And let me tell you, cheese is always a guest at these gatherings.

I’ve got a bit of a rep for my cheese boards – I love to get my cheese on with a good theme.  Sometimes, we go on a cheese tour de France without leaving the kitchen. Other times, a blue cheese bonanza will make you feel anything but. And I always enjoy using cheeses made with a milk other than cow. Sheep, Goat, are you listening?

Rustic boards, pretty marble slabs, and even a large platter can all serve as your base. I’ve been known to just lay the cheeses right on the countertop too!  I always use parchment paper leaves the cheese sits on and I always make little signs so my guests know exactly what they’re tasting.
